I got the Dost 1+2 combo CD. There are various songs from this CD that I like, e.g. Gümüş, Yeni Yürekle. I hope to see them play life. Tebrikler, Derya Yıldırım ve Grup Şimşek!
Favorite track: Gümüş.

When i first heard the singles from this album I was afraid the band will depart from their sound and adopt a more main-stream approach. Fortunately this wasn't the case and this new album is just as grand as the previous ones, with obvious improvement in composition. Derya's vocals are delivered in the same flawless manner, transporting the listener to an Eastern trip instantly. The most unexpected surprise on this was the addition of what appears to be an ethnographic recording at the end.
Favorite track: Gümüş.
DOST is a Turkish word that you can translate into English simply as ‘friend’.
DOST is a friend, a comrade, a brother, a sister and even more than that.
DOST is the connection to keep this life and world meaningful, significant and equal. To maintain respect, tolerance & the moments of love and peace. To keep growing and learning from each other. To allow yourself and others to live their lives as they chose.
This album is an appeal to those who believe in friendships; who believe in DOST.
